Returns & Refund Policy

Returns can only be made for products that have not been printed, embroidered, branded in anyway or that are faulty.

Unbranded Items
Products that have not been branded in anyway e.g., printed or embroidered may be returned for an exchange or credit. A restocking fee of $25.00 Inc GST applies to each item returned or exchanged. This restocking fee is to cover charges and freight The Design Lab incurs in processing the returned items. A Return Authorisation (RA) number must be obtained within 14 days of delivery before any items are returned to The Design Lab. To apply for an RA number please email hello@apparelhq.co.nz with your full name, email address, order number, the items you are wishing to return (product code, colour, size & quantity) along with the reason for return.
Returns must be made within 14 days of receipt of delivery and must be in exact condition in which they were delivered, including being packaged in the original packaging. Items that have been worn or washed are unable to be returned. Some items are ineligible for exchange or credit on return including sale items, underwear, and socks.

Branded Items
Items that have been branded e.g., printed, or embroidered are made to order and are unable to be returned, expect were faulty. The Design Lab has 100% guarantee that all products and services are free from defect. If there is an issue with your order, please email The Design Lab rep you have been dealing with and outline what the problem is.

How to return items
Once you have been issued with an RA number you will be notified by email along with an invoice for restocking fee (if applicable) and instructions on how to return your item (s). The items, along with their original packaging are to be returned to the below address at your cost (unless faulty) within 7 days of receiving your RA number. Your package must clearly state your RA number on the outside.
Once your return has been received, we will email you within 5 working days. The Design Lab reserves the right to refuse credit for returned items that have not met the criteria outline in this policy.
